The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), in partnership with the State Statistical Committee, is conducting the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey in Azerbaijan, with financial support from the European Union. Based on a survey conducted among the sampled households, the statistical data necessary for the assessment of the situation of mothers and children and human development will be obtained, the quality of drinking water and salt iodization will be tested, and the height and weight of the children will be measured.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), in partnership with the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is implementing the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey in the country, with financial support from the European Union.

The purpose of this survey is to gather data necessary for continuing the successful state policies that benefit children and women in our country. The survey will run for three months and will collect important information on the situation of families, women, and children. A total of 12,320 households across the country will be involved in the survey through random sampling.

Professionals who conduct the survey will visit households to conduct interviews and collect water samples, check salt iodization, and measure the height and weight of children under 5 years old. The information provided during the survey will be kept confidential.
