Fieldwork for the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey has started in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

"On June 20, 2023, fieldwork commenced for the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The survey will be conducted in the field and will be carried out by two teams. Each team consists of six members: one supervisor, four interviewers, and one measurer. Therefore, a total of 12 staff members were involved in the fieldwork in the Autonomous Republic, and three reserve staff members were involved as well. All staff members participated in fieldwork training held in the Autonomous Republic from May 18 to June 17 of the current year.

"In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) will be conducted in 1,280 households across 64 clusters. The survey is expected to be completed in August.

"The survey aims to obtain internationally comparable statistical data to assess the social welfare of mothers and children in the country, evaluate human development, and measure progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
